At the Xiangtan Yuchang Umbrella Company in Shigu Town, Zhou Hanyu, the fifth-generation inheritor of the Shigu oil-paper umbrella craftsmanship — a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage — applies clear oil with precision and overlays delicate wafer-thin paper. Each brushstroke exudes the unique allure of oriental aesthetics.
